Description

The web course will introduce recent advances in measurement technology, for example, making it possible to distribute front-ends and retain synchronous sampling through PTP (Precision Time Protocol). Power can also be distributed via LAN through POE (Power Over Ethernet). Technologies such as interchangeable front-panels, Dyn-X and REq-X will also be discussed. The technologies will be exemplified through the new hardware acquisition platform LAN-XI.

To understand how new technologies like PTP (Precision Time Protocol), POE (Power Over Ethernet) and Dyn-X can benefit users of data acquisition systems
