Progress control integrated in the sensor

Advertising displays ("City-Lights") with changing coloured pictures are well-known from airports and other public locations. Nevertheless a clever technology is hidden in such simple apparatus, developed for small and medium series. The picture in question could be positioned by a standard proximity switch of the main catalogue of any manufacturer. By assembly and cabling of two timers as well as of an additional relay the required progress control was produced. "Too expensive" acc. to the manufacturer's opinion. Since that time a progress-programmed proximity switch with integrated controller from Proxitron has occupied the job of the other components and has directly controlled the drive motor. Even with a two-wire connection for all current 20 to 260 V.
