Hose Clamps |

Hose clamps must prevent leaks in a variety of demanding circumstances. For example, in cold temperatures, rubber hoses shrink and become brittle. When an engine is started, liquids and high pressures are generated inside the hose before the rubber has expanded. If the hose clamp does not seal well, leaks may result. Therefore a good hose clamp seal is required. With the I-Scan system you can easily instrument a hose and clamp to test various hose thicknesses, designs, materials and how they react under different variables such as temperature. | |
